Control Room LIVE….Many Thanks!
It is my sincere privilege to share with each of you what I have been working on for the past 8 months. We have been in the process of building a new video control room to house our HD infrastructure. With over 1,000 man hours, 25,000 ft. (about 5 miles) of Belden video cable and most importantly an incredible team of designers, engineers, installers, volunteers and church staff we have been LIVE in our new control room now for around 2 and a half months.
From conception to inception this room is a product of 4 years of planning, vision, leadership decisions and a senior pastor who truly believes in reaching the world for Christ utilizing technology to its full potential without distracting or moving away from the central message….Jesus Saves.
So from me personally, my deepest thanks to several people for making this project come into fruition:
Paul Henderson, Armando Fullwood, Justin Hames and Alan Conor with Design 20/20 (http://www.design2020.com)
Mike Grier, Rob Kallqvist and Jerry Harrison with W.H Platts (http://www.whplatts.com)
Bryan Snow, Nick Dusenbury, Max Baumgartner, Jonathan Scott, Dan Panebianco, Toben Snow, Carl Etzel, Bradd Johnson, Ryan Carson, Zach Zale, Mark Hudak, Bobby Lindsay, Stephen Apple, Dan Anderson and David Chadwick.
Lastly, I want to thank my beautiful bride, Ashley. Without her love and patience I could have never managed this project. Getting used to 100+ hour work weeks is not an easy thing with 2 younglings running around the house, so beloved, thank you for your love and sticking it out with me through this process!
This project could have never happened without countless hours of prayer, vision casting and a long range plan for the future of Forest Hill and its extension campus’. I am deeply honored to be apart of the process and such an incredible team of amazingly talented/devoted people. As David says, “may I decrease so that He may increase, to him always and only all the glory)
Here are some before and after pictures of the final project. Enjoy.
